Reno Taxi Cab "Confessions of a Cab Driver"

OK tonight I was in the stand at the Nugget behind a friend of mine and he is complaining that it is so slow out that he has been in line first up for 2 1/2 hours and no fares, when I have already booked $70 without trying, anyway he is so angry he says to hell with this and leaves the stand for a fare off the computer, which was a no trip anyway…so no sooner does he leave then a man walks out of the nugget and says can you please take me to a strip club or something better? I said BETTER? yes of course , “Have you been to a Brothel Yet?” He says no what is that? I explain to him and he says “Can you take me to one?” Of course I say YES and off we go, so he tells me how his day went and that he is tired and just needs to relax, hey buddy no problems here I just drive passengers where they want to go and I do not judge anyone and he says thank you.

So he tells me he will be very fast and if i can wait ,he will take care of me, so I tell him I can wait my 1 hour break then I either have to turn the meter on or I will come back, he agrees to the meter bieng on.

So we get to the Wild Horse and we walk in and he walks straight up to the 2 most beautiful girls there and goes back, so I am like way cool as I get paid for this also….so i am waiting like 20 minutes and he and the girls come out, I am like OK he did not find a price they could work with and all is good as i get the fare there and back, so he says hold on a minute I want to talk to them again, I said not a problem i was available when he was ready.

So he takes the same 2 back again and the same thing a few minutes later they all come back, so now he is ready to go and I say OK no problem , I guess he didn’t spend anything so we were going home, on the way out he thanks me over and over and says thats the best time he had ever! I am like HUH? OK no problem SIR I am glad to help…so the ride back was quiet as it usually is from the House……I drop him off and he says “I will call you On Saturday for a ride back out there!” I am floored at this and I say you have my number cal me….

About an hour later i get a call from the ranch, they say I have a Package [a payment for the money spent by customers] and i really need to come back, so I am on my way back, the house never calls and says that unless it is large, so i get there and to my surprise it is a very large Kick! I mean I could take 2 weeks off and still have plenty left over….

Just goes to show that perseverance outweighs time and boredom!
